El curso te permitirá:
- adquirir conocimientos esenciales y familiarizarte con los principios de una enseñanza eficaz.
- adquirir una serie de habilidades prácticas para la enseñanza del inglés a adultos.
- demonstrar tu capacidad para aplicar lo aprendido en un contexto real de clase.
El curso cuenta con un mínimo de 120 horas que incluyen prácticas de docencia, observación de profesores cualificados, feedback detallado con los tutores y seminarios.
Se evaluarán 6 horas de prácticas docentes y cuatro trabajos escritos.
The course enables you to:
- Acquire essential subject knowledge and familiarity with the principles of effective teaching
- Acquire a range of practical skills for teaching English to adult learners
- Demonstrate your ability to apply your learning in a real teaching context
The course has a minimum of 120 contact hours which includes teaching practice, observation of qualified teachers, detailed feedback with tutors and seminars.
You will be assessed on six hours of teaching practice and four written assignments
Se trata de un curso introductorio perfecto para quienes tienen poca o ninguna experiencia previa en la enseñanza del inglés, pero también para candidatos con experiencia pero poca formación previa.
Deberás estar preparado para trabajar duro y así poder aprovechar al máximo esta experiencia desafiante pero a la vez extremadamente gratificante. No hace falta que el inglés sea tu lengua materna, pero si es esencial que tengas un buen dominio de la misma.
El CELTA es el título de enseñanza más reconocido a nivel mundial, con el que podrás enseñar en casi cualquier parte del mundo.
CELTA is an introductory course for those who have little or no previous English language teaching experience. It is also suitable for candidates with experience but little previous training.
You should be prepared to work hard so you can make the most of this challenging but highly rewarding experience. You do not need to be a native English speaker but a proficient command of English is essential.
CELTA is the most widely recognised teaching qualification globally, with which you can teach almost anywhere in the world.

The facilities
El Centro Británico’s modern facilities allow you to work comfortably and quietly during the whole period of the CELTA course. Here you will have at your disposal all the resources and equipment you might need, both for teaching and for working on your lesson planning and assignments: from comfortable classrooms equipped with computers and projectors, to photocopier, laptops, manuals or course books.
